When you submit our contact form, we collect:

2.5 Information Collected via DigiCode
Separately from facility services, the web service DigiCode (code.fablab-westharima.jp) handles the following information.

Passwords are stored in hashed form. No party — including us — can view or recover them in plaintext.
AI provider API keys, AI prompts, and AI responses are not transmitted to or stored on our servers (see §5.3).
Class assignment templates, student submissions, and attachments created via the class management features are stored on servers under our management.
Payment information such as credit card numbers is handled by the payment provider (Stripe / LemonSqueezy); we do not store such sensitive data.
3. Use of Google Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics (GA4) for web traffic analysis. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect visitor information.
3.1 Information Collected
Google Analytics collects the following information:

- Number of visitors and session duration
- Geographic location (country and region level)
- Device information (desktop, mobile, etc.)
- Traffic sources and referrers

5.3 AI Provider Integration in DigiCode
DigiCode's AI features operate under a BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) model using API keys for AI providers (such as Google Gemini, OpenAI, or Anthropic) that the user has separately contracted.
- API keys are stored only within the user's browser; we neither receive nor store them.
- AI inference requests are sent directly from the user's browser to the AI provider; we do not act as an intermediary.
- The relationship between the user and the AI provider is based on their direct contract; we are not a party to that relationship.
- When using a local LLM, no external communication occurs.
6. About Cookies
Cookies are small text files that websites store in your browser. Our website uses cookies for the following purposes:
- To provide website functionality (e.g., saving dark mode preferences)
- Maintaining login status
- For web analytics (Google Analytics)
6.1 Managing Cookies
Most browsers allow you to accept, reject, or delete cookies. However, disabling cookies may cause some website features to not function properly.
