Maker Faire Hamamatsu 2023

We exhibited at “Hamamatsu Micro Maker Faire 2023” jointly with FabLab Westharima, FabLab Kitakagaya, and FabLab Kobe!

• FabLab Westharima: “Run Time Checker” (Final Project from FabAcademy 2023)
• FabLab Kobe: OTTO DIY
• FabLab Kitakagaya: Flapping Wing Plane

The “OTTO DIY Robot” and “Flapping Wing Plane” appealed with movement, while the Run Time Checker made sounds. There were many visitors, and we were able to give demos to many people. Some people found the original board created in Fab Academy for explaining the location of each FabLab interesting and smiled.

We were able to interact with unique makers and it was a fun first exhibition!

What is Maker Faire?

A festival for “Makers” who use various materials and materials with unique ideas, centered on new technologies that anyone can use (card-sized educational computers, 3D printers, AI, etc.), to create unique things that surprise everyone or things that each person really wants that cannot be made with mass production. Makers from various places gather to exhibit and demonstrate. You can freely ask the creators about their works at all booths.

What is Micro Maker Faire?

A compact and casual one-day event where makers and those who want to become makers interact in places where Maker Faire has not been held before.
