What’s Fab Academy?
- Fab Academy is an intensive, six-month program that teaches students how to conceptualize, design, and prototype projects using digital manufacturing tools and machines.
- It offers a decentralized educational model, where students study with peers and instructors in local workgroups and are connected to the world through content sharing and online classes.

Here are some of the works of students from FabLab Westharima.
After a Bootcamp (self-study) before the actual production, they took on the challenge of Fab Academy. They overcame a hard and tight schedule of weekly assignments, final project production, and document production for about six months, and graduated.
